Happy-Go-Lucky passes within the first ten minutes when the main character Poppy and her friends stay up talking after a night of dancing. However, Poppy was so obnoxious that
foxfirefey and I could only stand to watch the first thirty minutes of the movie. Has anyone managed to sit through this movie?

The final scene is Poppy on a boat with her female flatmate, then abandoning the conversation with her when her new boyfriend phones ("Hi, I'm on a boat."). So although the film passes the Bechdel test very quickly, it seems to fall into the trap later on of girl-scenes=fluff, guy-scenes=proper, plot-advancing drama.
