St Trinians 2: The Legend of Fritton's Gold

Despite the fact that one of the lead female characters is played by a bloke, this passes with flying colours. Many conversations between the girls about subjects as diverse as gravedigging, breaking into secure places, and the stresses and strains of being head girl of a school. The message of the film is very feministy, too, although delivered with all the subtlety of a housebrick to the forehead.

Also, contains the added bonus of Colin Firth and Rupert Everett snogging.

It is *totally ridiculous* but I really enjoyed it. Also, it is genuinely nice to have a majority-female cast! Even if the three adult leads are all blokes, albeit one of them playing a woman, which is slightly aggravating. As a Londoner who spends a fair amount of time kicking around the South Bank, the last 20 minutes made me happy for "look! it's that yellow staircase outside the Hayward Gallery" type reasons, too.

Do not expect High Culture, though :)
