So, there's two women with names in the cast who meet during the movie and form quite the bond. However, one of them hardly speaks at all during the movie, including during scenes where the two women are bonding. This includes a possible Bechdel passing short scene, where one of the women is teaching the other how to make a pinhole camera, which has nothing to do with a man. There is another short scene where one is teaching the other about explosives.
Do these short interludes count as conversations? Is a conversation defined solely by the spoken word? There is communication going on here, just not verbal. What do you think?
